We were approached by Marissa Mayberry from Marrisa Mayberry Photography this last January to a do a styled shoot.  Normally we shy away from these, because the industry trend at the moment is content managers want real weddings for blogs and wedding websites.  Styled shoots take a lot of time and money and the return on your investment can often be minimal.  That being said, when she pitched us the idea for a ballerina inspired styled shoot, we were intrigued.  The idea and inspiration was born out of, “what would it be like to be a princess for a day?”  I think most girls at one point in time dream about being a princess.  From personal experience, I can tell you that my five year old daughter has talked about being one for the last 3 years non-stop!

To our knowledge, this theme has not been done in a styled shoot, and it sounded like a lot of fun!  In addition, it was also going to be shot by multiple photographers.  This format is unique in that in one shoot you get to see five different perspectives and styles of the same shoot.  We had some great vendors to help make the day special.  Make sure that you take the time to check them out!
